Terms and Conditions

Confirmation

A $200 deposit or 20% (whichever is greater) is required
to confirm your booking. Bookings are tentative and held
for 7 days until the booking form is completed and deposit
paid.

Full payment and changes to your booking

Please confirm final numbers and dietary needs at least
7 days prior to your event. If not confirmed, charges will
be made on original guest count and food will default to
pizzas (3 pieces pp; margarita, hawaiian and pepperoni).

Cancellations

Cancellations 14+ days in advance receives full refund, less than 14 days forfeits deposit. No refunds for no-shows on the day of event. Changes must be made through our venue manager and valid upon confirmation.

All Weather Venue

The Terrace’s main deck, pergola and bar are undercover.
Bad weather can put a dampen on any event so we will
do our best to accommodate you during those times with
alternate seating indoors.

Decorations

All decorations need venue managers’ approval. No
hooks, screws, glitter or sticky tape used anywhere on the
premises.

Cake

The function host is welcome to provide their own cake.
A cakeage fee of $25 per cake will be payable at time of
booking.

Dietary & Food

Special dietary requests amust be made 7 days prior to
your event. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
We cannot guarantee that any food items are free from
allergens or certify vegan menu items.

Prices and Surcharge

Prices for food and drink may change. Public holidays
incur a 15% surcharge and Sunday’s a 10% surcharge.
This surcharge applies to all items including packages,
food, drink, activities and security (if required).

Portable PA System

In-house portable PA system suitable for speeches and
presentations availble to hire ($30) for your event.

Bar Tabs / Beverages on Consumption

IPlease nominate an amount spend and alcohol you would
like available throughout the duration of your package.
Wristbands are available to determine who has access to the drinks package. Bar tab can be increased during your event, but must be paid prior to close. Credit card details must be provided.

Minors

Minors are welcome at The Bowl provided they are in the immediate presence of a parent or legal guardian.

Management at The Bowl maintains the right to shut down a function, at any time, in which they feel a minor has been illegally supplied alcohol. In this instance, no refund will be provided and the host will be charged in full.

In the event that an unidentified minor is present at the function, the minor will be asked to leave the premises by security. Any guest found supplying alcohol to a minor willbe referred to the police.

Music & Entertainment

We have regular live entertainment, DJs and in-house CrowdDJ playlists, all subject to volume and time limits. Check our social media for current lineups. During the winter, our venue reduces the number of live music performances, so if you are looking to hire an artist or DJ and cannot see a listing on your particular day/evening, please chat with our venue manager.

Security

A security guard is required for all functions deemed high risk by the venue manager for the duration of the function. 18th and 21st parties require a security guard for the duration of their event. Security fees are a flat rate of $270 (see surcharge T&C’s). The venue manager will decide if additional guards are required.

25 years and under celebrations

25 years and under celebrations on the Terrace require a security guard for the duration of the function (see above). Yard glasses or large glasses of any kind are not permitted.

18th & 21st Birthday Parties

These parties must order food from our platter menus with
a 3 items per person

Damage

The host will be accountable for any loss or damage which
is caused to the premises by any guest at your function.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

The Bowl is committed to the responsible service of alcohol at all times. The Bowl and its Licensee assumes responsibility for all persons in the venue and reserves the right to refuse entry, refuse service or remove any person that management feels is in any way behaving contrary to what is deemed acceptable by the approved government bodies or house policy.
